There are many interesting ways to make math a part of summer fun. Below are activity ideas that you and your child can do together. The activities cover different math ideas and vary by difficulty level. There are also entertaining and challenging math games from FAMILY MATH for two or more players.

As you read through an activity or game, you may not know how it ends or what all the answers are. That's okay! You will learn the answers along with your child. Enjoy the journey!

In this activity, your child explores the meaning of area and how to find it. This activity builds skills in Measurement.
 
Percents and Probability
In this activity, your child learns about percent chances of things occurring. This activity builds skills in Number Sense and Operations and Statistics and Probability.
 
Excursion into Base 4
In this activity, your child plunges into the fascinating world of different number systems. This activity builds skills in Number Sense and Operations.
